The Penguins traditionally play physical football and will try to shorten the game by running effectively and controlling possession. Kentucky should have the superior roster, but early-season uncertainty can give an experienced FCS team opportunities.
The key for Kentucky is offensive execution. Stein’s offense needs rhythm, explosive plays and efficient quarterback decisions. The Wildcats should attempt to establish tempo without becoming careless. A turnover or failed fourth-down attempt could provide Youngstown State with confidence.
