Texas nevertheless possesses overwhelming advantages in recruiting, depth, and defensive athleticism. The Longhorns should emphasize controlling the line of scrimmage and preventing Texas State from generating explosive plays. Texas State needs to play aggressively, protect the football, and capitalize on every scoring opportunity to remain within striking distance.
