Texas A&M — Terry Bussey is out for the season. Coach Mike Elko confirmed Monday that wide receiver and return specialist Terry Bussey will miss the remainder of 2026 with the lower-body injury suffered on the opening kickoff against Kentucky. Bussey entered that game second on the Aggies with 92 receiving yards and was handling both kickoff and punt returns. The loss is especially damaging with starting receiver Ashton Bethel-Roman already injured. Yahoo Sports
LSU — two more players lost for the season, with another key offensive weapon sidelined. Starting defensive back Dashawn Spears suffered a torn ACL against Ole Miss and is out for the year. Lane Kiffin described Spears as an integral part of LSU’s defensive success because of his versatility. Wide receiver Phillip Wright III will also undergo season-ending treatment after being injured against Louisiana Tech. National Football Post
LSU also will be without star tight end Trey’Dez Green for multiple games after his knee injury at Ole Miss. The encouraging news is that the MRI showed no torn ligaments and surgery is not expected. Green already has 14 catches for 222 yards this season, so even a temporary absence matters significantly as No. 10 LSU prepares to face No. 23 Texas A&M. cbssports.com

Oklahoma — All-American David Stone injured in practice. Star defensive tackle David Stone suffered a knee injury Monday when he collided with a scout-team player during a jog-through. Stone, a preseason AP first-team All-American, is officially questionable for Saturday’s game at No. 2 Georgia. Coach Brent Venables said the knee “kind of popped out,” although X-rays were encouraging and Stone reported very little pain. He has 12 tackles and two tackles for loss through three games and is one of the centerpieces of Oklahoma’s defense. His status is now one of the biggest personnel questions surrounding the Georgia-Oklahoma game. Yahoo Sports
Alabama — two important offensive weapons finally return. Running back AK Dear and wide receiver Noah Rogers have been cleared to make their 2026 season debuts Saturday against South Carolina. Dear has been out since suffering an ankle injury during fall camp, while Rogers has been recovering from the knee injury he suffered during Alabama’s spring game. Neither appears on Wednesday’s SEC availability report. Their return gives quarterback Keelon Russell two significant additional weapons as Alabama enters the heart of its SEC schedule. Alabama did receive some bad news defensively: linebackers Justin Hill and Desmond Umeozulu are both newly listed as out against South Carolina. Tuscaloosa Thread
Texas — starting-caliber backfield and tight-end concerns before Tennessee. Running back Hollywood Smothers is questionable for Saturday’s showdown with No. 14 Tennessee. Smothers, one of Texas’ major offseason transfer additions, has 198 rushing yards through three games. Tight end Nick Townsend has been downgraded to doubtful, while defensive lineman Justus Terry is officially out. There is better news on star edge rusher Colin Simmons: he is listed probable and appears set to return against Tennessee. Rocky Top Insider
Ole Miss — Kewan Lacy remains questionable, but the picture is improving. Star running back Kewan Lacy is officially questionable at Florida after the shoulder injury suffered against LSU. He has returned to limited practice work. Ole Miss also gets running back Makhi Frazier back, strengthening the Rebels’ depth if Lacy cannot play. bluewaterhealthyliving.com

Mississippi State — major reinforcement cleared to play. Defensive lineman Eddie Kelly Jr. has finally been cleared for the 2026 season and is eligible to make his Bulldogs debut Saturday against No. 19 Missouri. Kelly transferred from West Virginia in July but had been awaiting an eligibility decision. His clearance comes at an important time: Mississippi State has already lost defensive linemen Colin Coates, Diesel Moye and Trevion Williams for the season. Kelly has 103 career tackles and gives the Bulldogs badly needed experienced depth up front. SuperTalk Mississippi Media
Georgia — Nate Frazier now officially questionable. Starting running back Nate Frazier is listed questionable for Saturday’s SEC game against Oklahoma after leaving last week’s Arkansas game with an injury. Coach Kirby Smart had said earlier in the week that he expected Frazier to play, so his appearance on the official availability report is worth watching. Wide receiver Isiah Canion is also questionable. 95.5 WSB
Texas A&M — KJ Edwards cleared to return. Freshman running back KJ Edwards is off the availability report and expected to return against LSU after missing the Kentucky loss. His return is significant for an Aggies offense already dealing with the season-ending loss of Terry Bussey. sports.yahoo.com

Texas — Hollywood Smothers may miss the Tennessee showdown. Starting running back Hollywood Smothers did not practice Thursday and is now expected to be a game-time decision for Saturday’s SEC opener at No. 14 Tennessee because of a lower-body injury. There is reportedly legitimate concern that he will not play. Smothers leads No. 1 Texas with 198 rushing yards and has scored three total touchdowns. If he is unavailable, Raleek Brown is expected to take the lead role, with freshman Derek Cooper also likely to see more work. Burnt Orange Nation
Texas also officially ruled starting tight end Nick Townsend out after he had previously been listed doubtful. On the positive side, star edge rusher Colin Simmons has been removed from the injury report entirely and is expected to play against Tennessee. Burnt Orange Nation
LSU — important defensive reinforcement returns after the Dashawn Spears injury. Starting safety Tamarcus Cooley has been removed from the availability report and is expected to play against No. 23 Texas A&M. That’s particularly important because LSU lost Dashawn Spears to a season-ending ACL injury against Ole Miss. Cooley is expected to assume a major role replacing Spears at the STAR position. Cornerback Ja’Keem Jackson has also improved from doubtful to questionable. Currently
Oklahoma — David Stone remains genuinely uncertain. All-American defensive tackle David Stone remains questionable for Saturday’s game at No. 2 Georgia after injuring his knee in Monday’s practice. The encouraging development is that subsequent evaluation found no structural damage, considerably better than the initial concern that the injury could be season-ending. His final status remains one of the most consequential personnel questions entering Oklahoma-Georgia. sports.yahoo.com

Missouri — Ahmad Hardy’s return has suffered a significant setback. All-American running back Ahmad Hardy still has not returned to practice while recovering from the gunshot wound to his upper leg suffered in May. ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Saturday that once Hardy is able to practice, Missouri still expects a multi-week ramp-up period before allowing him to play. That makes his return considerably less imminent than previously hoped. Hardy led the SEC with 1,649 rushing yards last season and remains one of the most important players to Missouri’s 2026 ceiling. SI
Ole Miss — Kewan Lacy officially missed the Florida game. Star running back Kewan Lacy was unable to play Saturday after his shoulder injury against LSU. The injury does not require surgery, but his absence has now extended beyond the initial week of uncertainty. Lacy rushed for 1,567 yards and 24 touchdowns last season, making his recovery one of the most important personnel situations for the Rebels going forward. SI
