Week 3 SEC Football Predictions

SEC Football Predictions

Oklahoma at Temple: This is kind of out of Oklahoma’s neighborhood. The Owls have scored almost 100 points in two games this season, so you can’t afford to overlook them.  I think Oklahoma wins but Temple will make a decent showing.  Oklahoma 34-20.

Wisconsin at Alabama: Wisconsin is 2-0 but don’t be fooled.  Wisconsin has wins over Miami (Ohio) and Middle Tennessee, a team that was absolutely destroyed by Austin Peay State. Alabama 42, Wisconsin 28.

South Alabama at Auburn: USA has a win over Morgan state and a close loss to Tulane. Auburn looks very improved this season.  Auburn 49-17.

Georgia at Tennessee: This is a matchup that fans circle on their calendars. Georgia looked sluggish in week 1.  Georgia has the better defense while Tennessee counters with an explosive offense.  Tennessee wins 45-34.

Louisiana (ULL) at Missouri: Lots of folks predicted the demise of Mizzou football with the graduation of multiple extremely talented players, however, Missouri has looked fairly solid in its first two games.  Missouri should prevail if they do not sleep walk. Missouri 34, ULL 20.

UTEP at Texas: UTEP is 1-1 with a win over UT-Martin and a loss to Utah State. Texas should win handily.  Texas wins 49-17.

Alcorn State at Mississippi State: Mississippi State’s coming off a impressive win over Arizona State. The Bulldogs should have no problem with Alcorn State.  MSU wins 38-7.

Arkansas at Ole Miss: The hogs have score 108 combined points in two games.  It won’t be as easy to score this weekend.  Ole Miss wins 31-28.

Florida at LSU: Florida has fizzled since they installed Billy Napier as their current head coach.  LSU wins 48-17.

Texas A&M at Notre Dame: I’m not sure why teams schedule games at Notre Dame. The officiating is always horrendous like when they allowed the Irish to hold Vandy the entire game a few years ago.  Notre Dame 24, Texas A&M 17.

Eastern Michigan at Kentucky: So far this season Eastern Michigan looks like a dumpster fire. Kentucky wins 41-7.

Vanderbilt at South Carolina: Vanderbilt is coming off an exhilarating win over Virginia Tech. Vandy has not beaten the Gamecocks since 2008 and trail in the series 2-34 which is pathetic.  No way I pick them to win.  South Carolina wins 28-17.
