Oklahoma — Trell Harris out indefinitely. Starting wide receiver Trell Harris will be out for the “foreseeable future,” according to head coach Brent Venables. Harris suffered an abdominal injury during Oklahoma’s 17–10 loss at Michigan. The Virginia transfer had quickly become an important deep threat, recording six catches for 104 yards and a touchdown through two games. His extended absence should expand the roles of Mackenzie Alleyne, Parker Livingstone, Manny Choice and Elijah Thomas.
Vanderbilt — starting defensive tackle Aaron Bryant lost for the season. Head coach Clark Lea announced Tuesday that defensive tackle Aaron Bryant suffered a torn ACL against Delaware and will undergo season-ending surgery. Vanderbilt also will be without Jaylin Lackey and Cole Spence against NC State, while Jamison Curtis is considered week-to-week. Bryant’s season-ending loss is the most significant of those developments and reduces Vanderbilt’s defensive-line depth as the Commodores approach SEC play.
