The Kentucky Wildcats are gearing up for the 2025 college football season with renewed determination under the leadership of Head Coach Mark Stoops.
Following a challenging 4–8 campaign in 2024, the Wildcats are focused on rebuilding and making a significant impact in the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

I really like where I’m at right now for the spring. Obviously, there’s a ton of work to be done but I love this team’s energy. I like their focus the way we’re working. I feel like we’re getting better across the board. You know, off the field the guys are working really hard to be United and spend time with each other and get to know each other and on the field, it’s been great competition and it’s been fun. It feels good to get out there and uh you know work on some of the areas where we fell short a year ago and you know with this practice day we just finished up with four live reps of uh fourth and one fourth and one and a half fourth and two and working on converting those tough yards and conversely defensively, you know playing those situations so overall we’re making progress. I feel good I’m excited about it so um just keep on working the newer guys yeah LD has great you know Co coach has great energy. I love the way he coaches um he has great passion for the game uh great knowledge and you know works very well with the guys and he invests a lot of his time on and off the field and so really appreciate the work that he’s doing. I if I gave a shout out to anyone probably be defensive line. I think you know that group is you know, really the defense in general is flying around and this time of year you know traditionally the defense is a little bit ahead anyway.
